“I’ll be honest…

“I’ll be honest……dreams scare me. ”

So I read this is a post by one of my fellow bloggers tonight (http://thethinkingofthoughtsblog.wordpress.com/) and of all the interesting stuff that they wrote this absolutely captured my attention. The thinkingofthoughts really is a real thinking of thoughts. Not fake. Real. That’s hard to come by these days! What caught me most about this quote is the utter honesty of the writer. I think we all feel that way. At the moment I’m thinking about what my dreams are, what I want to do with my life, who I am, who I want to be, where am I going and where have I been. Honestly, in making plans for my year after I have been essentially in a mould for the past 18 years, going to a place of education, learning, sitting exams….even resitting exams and now I’m ready to spread my wings and fly. But I’m scared. There’s no reason. I know it’s right. I know it’s God but that doesn’t stop me being scared. Maybe the truth is we need to be realistic. Whatever our dream is there’s always going to be a risk. So lets face it and conquer it because to achieve our dreams we need to conquer our fears. Don’t let your fears hold you back from your dreams!

I really want to give the credit of this post to http://thethinkingofthoughtsblog.wordpress.com/ because it really inspired me!

  1. Thank you Jemiluce for your kind words. I pray that everything will work out for your future. I remember those days myself. Focus on the excitement rather than the fear. The world is your oyster. Go for it !
